When Animoto updated to a new product version, we overhauled the app and updated all of the in-app modals, illustrations and icons as well as created a new and improved components library. We also brightened the colors and brought more motion throughout the marketing materials to better reflect the new and exciting features we were launching in the new product version.

Icon System

In collaboration with product designer Tuba ozkan, we built out and refined Animoto's in-product icon system. We designed a guide and shared it across the design organization. By applying constraints and defining rules around the icons we were able to create a repeatable process that empowered anyone on the design team to contribute to the icon library without sacrificing visual consistency.

Website Refresh

In early 2020 Animoto launced the third generation of its video editing app. As a company that touts video as the #1 marketing tool, it felt very important to start incorporating more motion and video into the brand and marketing. As a way to give the website a little refresh and draw attention to the new UI of the product, I concepted and animated three new product graphics. The goal was to show more of the product UI but also make the experience look fun, easy, and inspiring to small business owners and non-tech savy individuals.
